Orange cranberry Energy Balls

These are my favourite energy balls! They are packed full of healthy fats, protein, and fibre to keep you satisfied in between meals. The orange oil adds such a lovely flavour! Pop 2-3 into Ziploc bags to have snacks ready to go for the week!

Ingredients

  • 1 c. Dates, dried, pitted

  • 0.5 c. Almond Butter

  • 1 c. Rolled oats

  • 0.5 c. Pumpkin seeds

  • 0.25 c. Dried cranberries

  • 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder

  • 3-5 drops Orange oil (or 1 tsp. orange zest)

  • 1-2 Tbsp. Water (as needed)

Directions

  1. Soak dates in warm water for 5 minutes to soften, drain.

  2. In a food processor combine dates and almond butter until smooth. Add in orange oil or zest.

  3. Mix in oats, protein powder, pumpkin seeds, and cranberries until well combined (using a food processor or mixing bowl). If too dry, add water, 1 tablespoon at a time.

  4. Roll into 1-inch balls and store in Tupperware in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months (store 2-3/freezer bag).
