FAQ
What can I expect at my first appointment?
The initial assessment is an opportunity for me to get to know you, your goals, and what you hope to achieve by working with me. During your first assessment, we’ll review your eating, exercise, and lifestyle habits, including social life, work/school schedule, sleep, stress, and your health history (i.e. health conditions, medications). This helps me to develop a “nutrition diagnosis”, and identify areas with room for improvement. At the end of the appointment, you’ll leave with an individualized nutrition plan to get you closer to your goal.
Do you provide meal plans?
No, at this time I do not provide weekly meal plans. Instead, I prefer to work with you to develop a meal guideline and provide you with meal and snack ideas to support you with your goals. If you have more questions about this, feel free can contact me here.
Are Registered Dietitian services covered through my extended health care plan?
Many extended health care plans cover Registered Dietitian services. Please review what coverage you have with your insurance provider.
